CBS's THE PRICE IS RIGHT, television's longest-running game show, is launching a nationwide search for its newest model, Saturday, August 16, at the Beauty Store and Salon in Mockingbird Commons, 6333 East Mockingbird Lane, Ste. 141, Dallas. CBS 11, the CBS-owned station in Dallas, will hold open auditions from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Additional cities will be announced in the coming weeks. In September, one winner from each market will be chosen to come to Los Angeles and audition for the producers of THE PRICE IS RIGHT. The top five finalists from those auditions will each have the opportunity to appear on an episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT that will air October 20-24. Viewers will be able to vote online for their favorite finalist. The winner will be announced on air November 7 and appear on an upcoming week of shows.
