Super Coup

Lavish luxury? Bentley bringeth. The brazen cousin of Rolls-Royce introduces its most deluxe little devil yet in the form of the 2009 Brooklands coup. A veritable vehicular English mansion, the Brooklands was inspired by the exploits of the 'Bentley Boys' at the famous Brooklands racetrack in the 1920's. The newest coupe follows the luxe lineage of such Bentley coupes as the 1930 "Blue Train" and the 1957 S1 Continental Mulliner.

The English automaker, which is now under Volkswagen's ownership, unveiled the Brooklands this last spring as its first ultra-luxury coupe in fifteen years. With a planned production of merely 550 cars, this star will be, by and far…well, by and far. The coupe houses a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V8 that generates 530 horsepower and a ZF six-speed automatic to take you from 0 to 60 in 5.0 seconds. Featuring a gorgeous interior complete with wall-to-wall top-grade hide and timber, as well as the largest rear seat among all two-doors, all occupants may aptly luxuriate.

Imposingly regal refinement with outstanding handling. It's Brooklands, baby.
